With fiction, we see what the author sees and events are clearer. I agree with the idea that monsters are out there, seldom labeled with tattoos clearly stating what they are. But nobody is right all the time, and the converse is also true, that trusting nobody is a sad and lonely existence, but better than being ripped apart and shoved through bars. I can't remember that long enough to act upon it every single time I think I've found a kindred spirit.
